Ran into running problem

hi 'list',


after a client has ordered a CD copy of his website we're now working on a
few things to fancy it up.  We however ran into a few problems.

1. We've set up a vb proggy that does the language selection and checks for
Acrobat availability (and suggests installing it from the CD before running
it).  However, on Windows ME it seems when we spawn a window from a flash
movie, it seems to take a VERY long time for the browser to start and
display a html page.  Does anybody know of Millenium having problems to
start the browser from another program?

2. Not very much html, but as essential part of the CD-ROM is to autorun.
So we've added an autorun.inf to launch the language chooser and get a nice
icon in explorer.  It works as it should on all Windows OS (have done this
before), except for Windows XP, which just opens the root folder of the CD
and also doesn't display our custom icon for the CD-ROM.  Anybody any
suggestions?  As said, the autorun.inf works perfect on all other OS's.
