Hi:

If I remember correctly, here's how lists typically work for me on
Sun Solaris 8 and Windows NT:

- Pressing return once on a list item moves to the next list item
- Pressing return twice on a list item 'escapes' the list mode and begins
a paragraph.

It took me a while to get the hang of this, but it sounds like Amaya isn't
working right for you.

What platform are you on? A good forum to post this is
www-amaya(at)w3.org. The developers are quite responsive and helpful.
