On UNIX it takes me 10 minutes to set up a domain. If all you want is a
shell and the DNS.

The 72 hours they are referring to is probably the propogation of the DNS
records.

So to answer your question, once they sit down and do what they need to
do, (all things being normal) you should be able to access your account
within an hour and access the web page by it's domain name within 72
hours.

Have you logged into the shell to verify they've set up your account? And
have you done a look up to make sure the DNS records are correct?

You should probably check these two before calling them.
