Hi again people!
Thanks to all who responded to my earlier query on this topic. I was
able to correct my code and eliminate the 'runtime error' that was
occurring. However, just when I thought it was all over, I discovered
another error...
In many (though not all) instances in the menu items, the 'title'
element is also a link. Initially (while I had a 'runtime error')
these links all worked fine (i.e. clicking on the 'Our Teams' menu
item brought up a 'generic' page, and the four links to the 'teams'
pages beneath, each of which was in turn, a link. The submenu items
work just fine. However now the links to the 'title' pages don't
work...
I've played around with the code and found that if I remove the
javascript call on the links, they operate as intended. Of course,
the expanding menu no longer works... So it would seem that the
javascript is not coded to allow 'title' items to be a link (the
initial script coded a title links as <a href "#">title</a> while
submenus were coded as <a href> "page.html</a> ) I can't see any
obvious way to change this (though I'm not saying I haven't missed
anything 'obvious'!).
For any Javascripters out there that could shed some light the URL is
as follows:
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~mhenden/infopower_art/IPL_frame.html
The actual navigation page is:
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~mhenden/infopower_art/IPL_menus.html
Alternatively, any reference to a script that does what I want it to
would also be welcome...
t.i.a.
MIKE
