A trick of perl to create pages that hold the text in one area and pictures
in another though I see a major blow out of this idea. I could on get the
trick to work under UNIX.
This works by the browse your computer upload trick. The perl script
passes the pict submission from the form to a FTP daemon that uploads the
file off your PC. On the user's PC, a JavaScript command does the work.
The text is passed from the form to perl to make a web page. Header and
all is a template. The pict is uploaded into a users directory as is the
template page so there is less passing of files paths back and forth.
Change the picture or the text and it starts all over again.
As for software I have never seen any. My background in this field comes
from before this was in the main stream.
