JS calculator... simple

hello,
 im looking for a simple calculator in javascript. i know the basics of
javascript but there are many holes in my knowledge of it. im having
problems finding a calculator that will do what i want it to do without
any bells and whisltes and extra knobbly bits.
i have...

a series of check boxes relating to options for a product - some will
have values, others will be free. (cost of 0).

what id like....

the price to be shown in a textbox (that cannot be edited (i know this
is possible and can get the script for that bit), but the price needs to
be updated using onFocus - either adding to the toal or taking from it.

hope what i typed made sence.

if your able to help and do, id be grateful.
