id advise strongly against fasthosts.co.uk... also knows an
farshosts.co.uk. there are more bad reports about them than good.=20

from personal experiences, i signed up as a beta tester to help refine =
a
new hosting companies hosting service, and i gave up totaly after a
week. i could upload about 30k via ftp before the connection froze to
the server. it wasnt my ftp client or connection as i could upload
whatever i wanted to the other ftp sites. also, the site was down quite
often. then i later found out they were resellers of fasthosts.

www.easyspace.co.uk are good. we use them for quite a few sites.
www.websusion.co.uk are also very good.
and www.uk2.net are pretty good. basic but good. very good for url
maskign and the like.

no problems with any them.

A pretty good UK Hosting company (they only have NT servers at the
moment
but on working on Linux and Win 2000) is Fasthosts
http://www.fasthosts.co.uk  It costs =A330 for a resellers account with
unlimited domains and unlimited space (among other benefits).

They have a pretty good track record far as uptime - I haven't had too
much
of a problem with them =3D)
