hello,
 anyone know where to download netscape6 from without having to use
their naff 'smart download'? im on a proxy server and its so smart it
doesnt support it. ive had this problem before with the preview release
and netscape keep saying "it supports proxy servers... enter the
settings correct". grrrrrrrrr. i have and it doesnt work. anyone know
where i can grab it from?

Over on the CF-Talk list - a ColdFusion technical list - they're
complaining 
that Netscape 6 breaks a lot of javascript that worked in NN4.7.  The 
general consensus there is you now have to build sites for 3 browsers - 
NN4.7, NN6 and IE4+ instead of just 2.

Haven't tried it myself, but I reckon it would pay to check any sites
that 
use DHTML or Javascript, and rewrite them if necessary.

I won't be downloading it until at least a month has passed and we're
into 
version 4 of the browser.
