RE: Stationery in Outlook

Hi folks - I hope my question isn't inappropriate for this group...

I designed custom stationery for my company, for use in outlook.  I created
an HTML file with a no-repeat background image along the top and some simple
text styles below.  The problem is, it looks horrible when received by email
software that doesn't support HTML.  Is there someway to make sure it looks
good as both plain text and HTML?  Can I put some sort of detection code in
the html that will display the message in either html or plain text
according to what type of mail app receives it?
