Unfortunately this method is not without its problems, too. A good discussion

Mike Kear might find this useful too in pointing up the differences between 
PC and Mac. (Take a look too at: 
http://style.metrius.com/font_size/points/font_wars.GIF) While I accept there 
are certain accessibility risks posed in using pixels as the unit for setting 
point sizes in CSS, it's currently the only method that apparently works 
reliably across all browsers and platforms.
