I already suspected something was wrong with your setup, and trying it out
confirmed it... no problem here on 4.76

Hello all,

I've almost pulled out all my hair trying to resolve this problem. The
archives provided no help so I'm throwing myself on your mercy. Oh,
great gurus -- what am I doing wrong?

Situation: This is part of a complete site overhaul. I'm developing the
internal pages but can't get the first one debugged. In both Netscape
4.72 and 4.75, on a Windows 98 machine, the following page keeps
freezing when I scroll down. If I just click above or below the slider,
all's well. But actually clicking on the slider and scrolling causes my
whole machine to lock up (at various places each time -- it's not
consistent in where it freezes). It won't fully load in IE 5.0, so I
don't know if the scroll problem is there as well. Adding to my
frustration, it works just fine on my husband's Linux box running
Netscape 4.72.

I always test in Netscape first as it's stricter. Is it something in my
code? Something wrong with my computer/system itself? Help!!
