Must say whenever working with a mac, I've been using WinZip to compress it.
Mainly a matter of stuff in the resource/data fork that's not sent with it.
Mac users can then use stuffit to uncompress.  THINK it also went vice
versa, WinZip should be able to cope with hqx files.

I have a client who publishes a senior citizen's newspaper. She sends me
her articles in Mac Word format. Sometimes weird things show up when I
open it up in Microsoft Word. Or, some of her writers use a format
unknown to me (probably maybe WordPerfect, Works, or text?)She also uses
AOL on a Mac, and uses the AOL mail to send attachments. I tried to send
her images for something to add to her paper in jpg through a regular
ISP, Netscape Mail, and nothing came out at all, plus a Word document I
sent to her had parts missing. Any suggestions? We're 45 miles away from
each other, and beyond me picking up her stuff each month from her
publisher (who is only 10 miles from me), is there some way to get these
attachments to come out better?
