{font-family: Arial, Helvetica; font-size: 
14pt; background-color: #ffffff;}

because not all style attributes are inherited through underlying child
elements.

Setting the default font size:

I would like to set the default font size for all of the pages in a 
site.  I have specified the fon-size in teh body element of my css 
file.  The line reads:  body{font-family: Arial, Helvetica; font-size: 
14pt; background-color: #ffffff;}  Font-family and background color are 
applied correctly to all of the pages in the site, while font-size is 
not.  I am assuming, then, that I cannot specify the font size in the 
body.  True?  Any suggestions as to how to best accomplish this?

IE 5 for Macintosh:

I'm using a 
to position a graphic as a layer. The page looks good in all of my test 
browsers, except IE 5 for Macintosh. Has anyone run int similar 
difficulty with IE on the Mac? If it is helpful, the page I'm testing is
