Relative or absolute URL shouldn't matter. You could try adding "type",
like this:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
But I doubt it'd make much difference in IE. Your favicon is placed in
root too, it appears -- so it can't be that. The above code works
perfectly in Opera, Mozilla and Netscape. It must be IE that is mucking it
up. A setting somewhere?
