Thanks Jeff. That sounds very possible. It does, annoyingly, show up when
you go between "Design" and "HTML" modes in their edittor. It's a joint MS
and eCollege effort from what I understand but according to my boss noone
knows where it comes from. I recommended he check with Dev to see if this
is what it is.
