I'm pretty sure that HTML doesn't allow spaces in names either, though I =
could be mistaken.  Never had the need or desire to do it like that, =
actually.

ALL scripting languages that will access information from HTML elements =
will have problems with spaces in names, so in general I wouldn't =
recommend it (unless you're a glutton for punishment).  I'd recommend =
writing it out like this, if you're so hardup to do so: "whichSideOfTheEart=
hIsTheMoonOnRightNow", but as you can imagine typing that out, it's =
entirely impractical.

There's one page I'm working on where it would be nice to include an
entire sentence as the field name, so that when the person gets the
form info by email, the answer that's entered makes sense with the
question without having to look up and match numbers.

I guess my main question is whether or not a short sentence is
allright as a field name.

Example: "Which side of the earth is the moon on right now?"

I thought I remembered Javascript having issues with spaces in a name,
too.
