analog log file analyzer

This is a question to anyone who uses analog to analyse their log
files.

I can't find any reference material for using analog with multiple
configurations, such as specifying a different config file, or passing
command line parameters.

The reason I ask is that I'm writing scripts to do the anaysis and I
need to do it a number of different ways.
