Yes.

It's been discussed, including very recently again. The general 
consensus is that 'a survey' would be 'mostly useless'. However this 
-specific- question was not addressed. Next time we take a tour 
around that block I'll mention it.

But it's still very difficult. Almost any 'one' question is
irrelevant without reference to several or many other factors:
client and audience types, content, demographics (author and 
audience), skill level, etc.. But no doubt it'll be discussed again.
