I've gone off topic with this, replying privately and to -theory.

As Ben says there -is- no 'default font size' in terms of how you
think you need it. Wrapping will vary with browser, platform,
browser and platfor versions, screen resolution, browser window
size, even given that the user has never changed their default font
size.

No, I don't like wrapping in many instances either, but neither can I 
do anything about it. Test by setting the default 'very large' to 
make sure text doesn't push out the edges of teble cells and that's 
about it.

What you said was 'need to... meet her requirement'. That is slightly 
incorrect. That's what you -want- to do. But what you should need to 
do is educate the client in the theory and practice of Internet. That 
web pages are not a 'presentation medium', but a 'content medium'. 
The slight presentation imperfection is light years less important 
than good accurate content. It is not a static cast-in-paper-and-ink 
billboard. The very fact that it is dynamic and things move around is 
an -asset-! A slight change late in the process of a traditional 
paper advertising campaign could easily cost thousands of $ more than 
the same change at -any- time on the net.
