Hi All,
I don't know if this is the right list to post this on and my
question is not really a big theoretical thing, it's just really
quirky...
Anyway, I was updating parts of my site on the weekend and I was
playing with the navigation bar... I started with frames and moved
towards using a table... Anyway, at first I placed the navbar at the
right of the screen in both the frames and tables, but eventually
settled on placing the bar to the left...
Check it out:

Anyway, yesterday I was surfing the web going to different sites and
I noticed that a lot of people including myself seem to place the
navbar to the left... I guess what I'm trying to get at is why? I
mean do people place navbars/links because of habit, convenience or is
there an actual reason for doing it... (design-wise)
I figure it has to do with the fact the it might be more logical or
less stressful for the eyes... Any insights?
Dave
