Ladies and Gentlemen,
As most of you know by now, I'm the List Guide for Theory ... just a person
like yourself volunteering to assist everyone with the ways of the land
while you are on Guild premises.

Cross-posting is discouraged on all of the Guild mailing lists. However
pertinent the topic is to more than more list, it should be remembered that
by cross-posting, you are contributing to duplication and redundancy, not
to mention additional bandwidth and storage.

There is a lot of traffic on the Guild's various mailing lists and
cross-posting tends to create multiple threads on the same topic. It is
recommended that you post the message to the list that the message applies
to the most.

We do allow multiple postings to the lists. This means that you may send
individual messages about the same thing to different lists. However, the
messages should be individually addressed.

This information can be found in the Netiquette Guide located at:
http://www.hwg.org/lists/netiquette.html#5

I thank you for your cooperation. Contact me directly at lg-theory(at)hwg.org
should you need further assistance.

Best,
Chuck McGee, Jr.
HWG Mentor, List Guide
