OK -just to keep the ball rolling....
I work in a UNIX environment and am philosophically opposed to
JAVA programming in general and JAVA for the sake of bleeding-edge
in particular.
I've nothing against Sun (their equipement has keep me gainfully
employed for the last 16 years :) ).
The question is does anyone have a good XML environment running
in Solaris that will handle test and development of XML apps?
When taking the XML course (great course BTW) I cobbled a very
messy environment with fxp and other bits (This was before
Xerces and xalan were anywhere near stable). I also need a good
way of testing the DOM locally, as N*****scrap does not
understand it and I-YI-I-YI-I-E doesn't run properly under
Solaris.
I'm not looking commercial products here or even IDE per se
just a nice way to develop apps.
Parsing XML not a problem perl does that reasonably well :)
Thanks in advance.
