I have noticed quite a few messages posted lately by members asking for
codes for specific entities. These codes are in the W3C specification for
HTML 4.0, section 24:

24.1 Latin-1 character set entities-
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/HTMLlat1.ent
24.2 Symbol entities- http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/HTMLsymbol.ent
24.3 Special entities- http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/HTMLspecial.ent

Dixie, the "not equal to" is &#8800;
It can be found in Symbol entities under mathematical operators.
