Starting Out?

Hi, I have decided to start up my own web design company.  I am currently working on our site and making plans with my partner, and we plan to be operational by the summer.  Although I have some experience making websites and feel I am good at it, I have no experience in the business aspect of it.  What steps should I first take?  My primary concern is finding clients; I think my skills and hard work (not to sound cocky) will take care of the rest. We are going to do some advertising in some papers, submit to search engines, and spread the word by talking, but what else should I be doing?  Your experienced insight is extremely valued.
