An acquaintance and I wanted to further his business with an online website,
I was to design, build and manage the website, my pay... 25% of all items
sold from that site. Little did I know how huge a job building this site
would be. So very much to learn... not to mention having to learn Frontpage
as I learned everything else about web site creation.

My client, (since it is obvious to me, that the business is his and I am
working for him) about a month into the creation offered to compensate me for
work I was doing just creating the site. His offer.... he would buy me a new
computer. I agreed. I quickly told him that a new computer with what I needed
would range from $1500 to $2500. Since then I have been put off on the
computer for one reason or another.

In good faith, I continued to build the site. The site is now 95% complete
and he has yet to mention payment for the work done.

I am a professional graphics Artist/Designer, but a rookie web site creator
and this being my first site, (which he is fully aware of), what should I
charge him for my work? I want to be fair to him as well as me...

Also.... he asked if a watermark could be placed on all his graphics to
prevent others from using them. I told him that was possible. Now he wants to
know how much to do this. What should I charge him? In one catagory alone, he
has almost 200 pictures, so this will be a huge job. Charge him per picture?
And if so, how much?

My head is swirling, please help me. ::smiles:: Thanks in advance!

Taylor
