Monitor: 14-in with 1MB video at 1024x769, 256 colors
Modem: 56K V9.0 connected at 38,666 bps
Browser: IE 4.0

Observations:

Splash page: 1} Nice logo, try to find a way to include it within your site.
JS launched home page smoothly. 2) Why use JS when the meta "refresh" tag
does the same thing and works even when JS is disabled?

Home page: 1) Nice banner and JS menu bar, here's the place to work in your
logo. 2) What is AFSCME? Nothing on the home page clearly states your
organizations name or purpose. 3) Is your photo contest the most important
topic of interest to your members? This may be more appropriate lower on the
page or as a sidebar along the right side. 4) Don't leave me hanging at the
bottom of a page. Include a "top of page" link, mirror your menu bar at the
bottom, or include a text version of the menu bar above the "webmaster"
link. (This item pertains to all pages.)

Staff and E-mail pages: Duplicate information - stick with the "staff" page.

FAQ Page: Finally, I find out what AFSCME is! Some of this information needs
to lead-off your home page.

Links page: Include a corresponding text link for each graphic.

Legislators page: 1} Spelling error "Oreogon Senate" 2) This is a long
page - 6 screens at 1024x768. Add "top of page" links at the end of each
table and a menu bar at the bottom.

I didn't give the content a detailed check for typos or spelling errors but
did notice a few scattered around the pages.
