I'm just thinking out loud here on the idea of the kitchen tiles. I liked
the idea of taking pictures of the tiles and then providing a place to look
at the tile as a tiled background :) I'm just thinking out loud here on the
idea of the kitchen tiles..... so bear with me.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to use the kitchen appliances,
cabinets, etc. sort of like a stationary "frame" for a picture. Then set it
up like a small slide show... and animated changing of the floor tiles
inside the frame. Use the picture frame as stationary, and make images of
each tile inside the frame.... then set it up as an animated gif or slide
show. Naturally do it on a fairly small scale (no more than 150 to 200
pixels) so it wouldn't take an eternity to load, and I would do this just as
sort of a "flash" ad on the page to catch attention, not using more than 4
or 5 rotating images. Then in the main part of the design page have tiles
people can click on that will show the tiled background page larger. This
way you'd have something to catch the eye... and something else that is
interactive.

I have seen this small slide show be effective for resorts and hotels
showing samples of their rooms or outdoor scenery to catch the eye.

Just a thought,
Lonna
