I've had the chance to use both the Sony Mavica with
the floppy drive and a digital camera that you have to
download via USB.  Go with the Sony Mavica.  I didn't
know that they had discontinued it, but do look around
especially on ebay, a friend of mine had purchased his
there and he has been very happy with it. 

The other camera I used (Kodak Dc240) was not worth
taking home.  It only allows for so many pictures to
be taken unless you have another memory card which is
pricey.  And when I did download the images it took a
long time.
