I can't remember that effect off hand.
But would rotating the image before applying the effect work ?
Maybe make several layers, each rotation w/effect per layer ?
Also maybe doing a small selection of each corner after rotating then
applying the effect to get the motion blur to only appear outward from
each corner ?
BTW: does anybody have the URL for that movie ? I tried www.sleepyhollow.com
but it only leads to a telecommunications site and not the movie.
