Sorry-I sent this unfinished. A loose mouse and a mistake hitting the return
key. Let me try to finish:
<< Our 50th anniversary convention is in October. We would like to take
photographs and have a 3 minute video made to show during one of the events.
Should we hire a professional outfit to create this from our photos? Has
anyone done this using some other means? >>
There are several ways you can do this. If you have a newer Mac and want to
learn a program, you can create the video in iMovie. Of course, you will need
a way to output it from your computer.
I happen to know about this because my partner does video editing. You could
take the photos, have them developed and put onto a CD. Then you could then
give them to a person or company that does special editing for adding bells
and whistles or just have an opening title and the photos in the order you
request. You can get music, too.
The more professional you want it, the more it will cost. I would call a
local camera store to see if they have a recommendation of a place.
