We have an immediate opening for a Web Developer/User Interface Consultant.

Onsite required: Wakefield, MA

Summary
The Web Designer/UI Consultant will work with our clients to coordinate, 
design, develop, and deploy the Web site and UI for Web-enabled 
applications. Our Consulting teams build complex, enterprise-wide 
collaborative, workflow business solutions for the industry and the Web 
Designer will ensure that the Web interface, UI meets the highest standards 
of quality. Some travel will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create new Web pages and develop graphics.
Design, develop, and maintain PortalworkX applications.
Design, develop, and maintain scripts (JavaScript).
Meet with clients to define specifications and deploy solutions.

Additional Responsibilities
Conduct initial front-end analysis of audience, tasks, and needs related to 
system design.
Document analysis and observations in a Design Plan.
Conceive and maps the information structure (screen flow diagram) for 
complex systems.
Create initial screen decks to illustrate navigation and functionality.
Communicate Design Plan and design strategies to client/client committees.
Collaborate and communicates with all members of the design/development team.

Qualifications
Experience building and maintaining multiple corporate Web sites.
Comprehensive technical understanding of HTML including forms, tables, and 
frames.
Must have experience in Photoshop with Illustrator or Freehand. 
Dreamweaver, Image Ready and Fireworks is a plus
Significant experience with NT or Windows 95.
Professional experience in information design for software or interactive 
systems.
Experience analyzing complex needs and expectations.
Create effective/usable interfaces.
Experience designing for both Intranet and Extranet audiences.
Wide familiarity with the standards and limitations of the 
Internet/interactive systems.
Experience using JavaScript, VBScript and PERL is a plus.
Art school education, advertising or marketing experience a plus
