The Web Designer is responsible for designing web pages with the user's
experience in mind. This person collaborates on designs with the assigned
Graphic Designer for deliverables like: the iChoose website, the iChoose
extranet, other iChoose websites, specific web pages on our partners' sites,
and bringing compelling offers to our software users through the creation of
templates and custom offers.

Responsibilities:
Evolving the design of the web interface to enhance the user experience, 
navigation, layout and general usability.
Creating innovative, empowering end-user experiences
Understanding and incorporating marketing requirements for the user
interface and coordinating development with partners and other parts of the 
development organization
Staying abreast of latest web UI trends and technologies in the
industry and selectively applying appropriate approaches to the environment

Requirements:
2 - 5 years of industry experience
Eye for professional web design - including content layout and information 
architecture
Ability to professionally manipulate graphics and photos provided by 
graphic designers
Understanding of limitations/capabilities of web browsers and how they 
relate to the use of graphics
Ability to "slice" graphics for JavaScript mouse-overs in a 
download-efficient manner
Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, DHTML and Adobe Photoshop 5.0
Technical and Creative Savvy along with strong timeline delivery experience
A professional portfolio of designs and URLs for our Director of Creative 
and Usability Services to review

Experience Plusses:
Experience with building web applications - including but not limited to 
database development, scripting languages, and generating dynamic web pages
Experience with web graphic creation
