Web Developer ( 2 current opportunities)

Location:  Houston (Clear Lake), TX

Aphelion, Inc. is the industry leader in Health Club Management software.
Our software
is distributed to 1500+ clients; some in multiple-site environments.  We are
in the process of
moving to an Application Service Provider model and need to develop a
web-based solution
yesterday.


Position Summary:

These positions are responsible for designing and developing web
applications
based on our leading desktop software solution.  The right candidates are
self-starters who can learn and apply the necessary technologies
as they get their first commercial products under their belt.  We are
strictly a Microsoft
shop and we use the latest tools and technologies available (is that a
contradiction?).
We are interested in individuals who have the basic skills, can learn fast,
solve problems,
and think outside the box.

We are looking for a WARRIOR!  One who can fight in the trenches and take
no prisoners as we consistently beat our competition in the game of
one-ups-manship.
In this industry, we ARE the Joneses' and our competitors can't keep up.


The Basics:

HTML
VBScript and/or JavaScript
SQL
College Degree preferred


The Advanced Stuff (or what you'll learn when you get here):

IE 5 + DHTML
COM+, ADO, CDO, ActiveX controls
