Given that it is a new and different thing that alone will make things
tough. I just went to one of the unveiling events and was quite impressed.
They cited many examples of what you are asking for. I would suggest that
you go to their site and click on the links to actual working sites that
have done just that, converted everything over. They even did a test against
java applications and came out with 30% less lines of code doing 5 times the
speed of the java based pages. http://www.cafepress.com/ had a learning
curve of one week and converted their entire site in less than a month. It
is a massive site, go there and ask questions.

I am by far no expert and will not even try to quote everything here as I do
not qualify to answer your question. But I encourage you to go to the .net
site and check out the converted sites and email their staffs for answers to
your questions. And for the record it uses 20+ programming languages, not
just the three you list.

It is going to be tough but then all things must evolve if they are going to
survive.
