Re: IIS and shared IP with multiple VirtualServers with different DNS

You may use the same IP address as long as there is a different Port
addresses or even directories within the same ip address can share.

DNS forward lookup is:
A records of foo.bar = 123.123.123.123
fub.net 123.123.123.123
etc....

Just make sure DNS resolves to same IP #'s

In NT... Run the IIS MMC (Administrative Tools >>  Internet Service
Manager), then select the host machine you want to add a new site to, then
right click to add new site - give it a name, then as you progress through
the wizard - you should give it an IP address...  This is where you can
utilize either ports (123.123.123.123:8281 or other free port address) or
you can use the same address with home directory/ftp pointed to sub
directories
