Mystery of the missing IIS log records

On 5 seemingly random days in March, my IIS mysteriously stopped
logging.  No other admins muck around with it, so I'm at a loss.

Fer instance, the date/time in the last record of my
ex000302 log file is: 2000-03-02 05:24:22

and the first record in my ex000303 file is: 2000-03-02 05:00:35

(where 05:00 EST = 00:00 GMT.)

The other days that logging stopped were at roughly 5:30 AM too.

Any ideas out there....?  I'm mostly a Netscape server kinda guy....
