Hi Beth,
This is a user education issue - www is the industry-standard convention,
.. used world-wide.

Not any developers of which I am aware. NOT using the www creates more of a
problem than USING it, because 99.995% of the world web browsing population
*EXPECTS* to use www.domainname.com.
