Okay - you're on the way. But your buttons still aren't all lining up and
here on my Mac, the text is cutting into the photo.
I'm not sure why youy want to eliminate the table. The opinion of this
student:
You can center your Welcome message at the top or place it next to the photo.
The text under it and the buttons should be placed into at least a single
row, two column table. This way the buttons will stack up in the left column
and your text will line up in the right. Position the balance of the page
using the table for your layout (you also have a problem with a decorative
image that's below the horizontal row of buttons lower down). I don't see
that using a table as being that difficult unless I'm missing the point.
The external style sheet is great, or style sheets period. But for this type
of layout I would still stick with a table.
So - take a deep breath, give the kid a couple of chew toys, and take a
rested look at your code. Take yer time!
