There is no such a thing.

I've seen some sites where they write that there are XXX users online in
that moment.
What does that mean?

When you click a link, you download a page and disconnect from the server.
When clicking the next link, you download another file and disconnect again.
After each link, you could shut down the computer and that web site won't
even know.

A user could be considered to be on their page while downloading that file,
because after downloading a file, there is no relation between the browser
and the server.
So this may take a few seconds only.

Those sites usually show the number of visitors on their site in the last
hour, or half an hour, etc, but this doesn't mean anything.
