Does the latest Dreamweaver support relative positioning of div's?

My partner is using an older Mac version that does everything as absolute 
positioning, which means a lot of work to shift it over to relative (and then 
Dreamweaver won't recognize the file).
If a later version of  DW would work in relative pos, I might persuade her to 
upgrade.
