Jaggies

Hi guys..

Can somebody give me what is probably some pretty basic guidance with PSP
here. It's not my graphics program of choice, so I only use it from time to
time for specific things...in this instance for image deformation.

I created a patterned circle in PhotImpact and "corrugated" it, (for want
of a better word) using the Jama plug in. This is where I have to use the
"deformation/circle" tool in PSP, cut the circle in half to get the effect
of the top of a curtain/drape. It looks wonderful at this point ...BUT,
the minute I put a shadow on it to give it some depth, the "jaggies" show
up between the shadow and the graphic.

I have tried using blurring the edge with the blur tool in PhotoImpact and
that's long winded and not terribly successful either although using the
button designer with a bevel of 1 does smooth it out quite a bit it's just
not quite enough.

Is there a way in PSP to smooth out the bottom edge without the pattern in
the graphic deteriorating/blurring and without me attacking the darned
thing pixel by pixel and going crosseyed ?

Help!!!...before I break something here LOL
