XHTML in Dreamweaver3?

Hi,

Is there any way to modify Dreamweaver so that when you press SHIF+ENTER you 
get 
 instead of 
, and when you insert an image you get [Unable to display image] instead of [U
nable to display image]?  I know it's meant to be extensible, but can you 
actually change what it writes?  I don't want to have to redo the coding by 
hand afterwards if I can help it...Thanks,Peter.
