Hi,

I'm a hired gun. I was writing mod_perl for this one client & they asked
if I could help them get set up with XML.

They're using XML::DOM and XML::XQL and their lead developer requested
writing up XML for RPC.

I'm assuming that I'll have to start with a good book on RPC (I bought the
O'Reilly press's Programming the RPC) and from that develop the
DTD first before creating an XSL and XML template.

Has anyone done this sort of thing before? Are there good resources
to poke around at?

I have some SGML experience where I did create DTDs (I worked in QA
at Framemaker+SGML for 2 years, and did some development work in
SGML for 18 months before that), so I'm familiar with creating rules.
I invested in XMetal for assistance.

Mostly I'm just looking for any advice you all have to offer.
Thanks,
Lara in Los Gatos, Ca
