Hello all,
Looking for a good text based HTML editor that will show me line #'s,
etc. I've managed so far with notepad under Win 98 but, with validation
showing everything by line numbers I got a wee bit confused. I've managed to
mess up a simple HTML validation error (started with 3 errors in 4.0
Transitional, edited, and now have edited 4 times because I cut the wrong
tags) because I am unsure where line #'s come in.
Also, should I worry overly much about cgi validation errors on free
service counters? I've attempted to contact the counter supplier to add an
extra character instead of the '&' in the cgi script cause it is also causing
validation problems.
I've gotten Bobby down pretty well except a few 'manual checks' that need
to be performed. This has gotten me excited. Granted, it's nothing more
than a simple user homepage with alot of searching done for links and
categories, but I did it with little use of any WYSIWYG editors. Woohoooo
TIA,
Gordon Parmelee
