Several Domains - One Server?

Morning,

I hope I can ask this question in an understandable way.

One main company, two  smaller companies.  Three Domains.  They all go
together.  Same info, same history, just different functions and services.
I would like to create three homepages/index-pages and depending on which
URL was used that homepage/index-page would be called up, yet have all the
internal pages be the same.

Navigation is where my thoughts get very cloudy.  How can you create this
(if it can be done) so that if you are housing three index pages on one
server, when you create links to return to the Hompage you make sure the
link will take them back to the page they entered the site thru?

Is this possible?
