NN View Problemsby "Ben Bradley UK" <kingben(at)bigfoot.com> |

The pages in question are at http://www.batfastad.force9.co.uk/guitar.htm http://www.batfastad.force9.co.uk/chat.htm In Netscape, why does the text underneath certain sections render in Times New Roman instead of the Verdana specified by the external style sheet? What's even more worrying, is that the text above these weird areas, is in verdana. I've looked for stray tags and found none. These pages won't validate so don't try because I don't want a whole new can of worms coming out and jumping at me to sort and validate across a 100 page site. The actual site at http://bat.jx.nu looks the same in NN and IE which I'm proud of considering the placement techniques - you would never have done the same rounded page borders with HTML. The design is also superb - I might put a right click thing on so users have to move themselves through the framesets to get to my image locations - which rather uninspiringly is at /img. Also, any experts on cookies. The JavaScript ones obviously. They really should rename them to pies as it would sounds loads better. I have no problem writing and reading the cookies. But i want the index to scan for it, then relocate the user to another page if it is present - kindof like a personalised start page but I know how to work that one out. If cookie present then "window.location='index2.shtml'" Bit of a boring trademark question. when you put tm on something, it is merely used as a deterrent like (c) - you don't actually need to register it like you do with (R) - Am i correct? Thankyou in advance for reading my overly long email.
