There is or was a useful little routine available called
<Quickres>. It can be loaded when required and ANY screen or
colour resolution may be selected - without rebooting. You just
have to hold your breath for a few seconds whilst the black
screen of death appears for a few seconds during changeover! But
it works well - for me on my PC.
I use it less now - Golive has facilities for considering the
problem of resolution.
