You must be viewing with Netscrape 6 (you didn't say, so I am guessing) If
so, you have the same problem I had a while ago, which was covered on the
list. There are no spaces in either IE5.5 or NN4.77 now
The solution, as provided by Larry Coats (I think he sent it to the list,
not just to me) is to set vertical-align: middle for those cells (in your
CSS).
By default, if I recall Larry's message correctly, NN6 assumes the alignment
to be baseline for images, so it leaves space for descenders (such as in the
letters g and j).
You should find this fixes the problem.
