This is my first time to post here and probably not my last.  I hope this
isn't off topic, but if it is please let me know.

I am researching hosting options and domain registration.  My question is
this.  How important is it to do a search for trademark and/or any
infringements on the legal rights of others on the use of a domain name?  I
am looking for myself and for any "jobs" that I might take in the future.
