Hello Captain,
/.../
>Getting sarcastic, huh? :-)
Absolutely not. If I came across that way to you I sincerely apologize to
you and the readers of this list.
/..../
It's OK, I know that you didn't mean it this way. Even if you would I feel
that I'm strong enough to take any sort sarcasm/offence or anything alike
(it simply doesn't matter to me). Again, I understand that you didn't mean
it this way.
/.../ I hate to break the new to you Ma am /.../
Is this 'Ma am' as in 'madam' ?
I know that Laurie and such names are generally given to females in the
States and in the UK. However, here in Estonia and 80 km away in Finland
Lauri is a name for *males*(as in boys/men) :-)
Didn't know that, now did'ya :-)
/.../
There is ~only~ one way to accomplish that. Valid HTML.
You can have 14 versions of your pages and it won't
matter if the code is not correct (compliant with the standards for the
HTML), you will not be able to meet that goal *reliably and predictably*.
To depend on a script (in this case Java Script) to redirect viewers to one
version or another is in its self ' locking out ' a substantial number of
visitors if your intent is to reach "EVERYBODY" that is not the way to do
it.
/.../
Couldn't agree with you more. Valid HTML is a must.
/.../
I think I'm getting a little better feel for this . . . I think I'm just
more the believer in the K.I.S.S. principal
/.../
Ummm... a better feel for what?
As I'm not a native English speker, I'd like to ask you what does K.I.S.S.
stand for.
Waiting for a reply.
BTW I'm going away to a island(without Internet access) in ca 24 hours +/- 4
hours, that is on the 26th at 9pm according to the GMT time, so there is
chance that I might not be able to replay to you in a week
Best wishes,
Lauri Vin
